CyberCash Inc has raised another $5m in a private placement with undisclosed investors, as part of a $15m total investment announced at the start of this year. Back in January the investors put up $10m and this is the second tranche. It is believed – thought not confirmed – that these are the same investors that put up a total of $30m last year (07/16/98). CyberCash says this money boosts its cash line to about $19m. The company had cash and equivalents of $10.9m as of December 31 1998.
