Cable & Wireless Plc is not commenting beyond saying it has no plans to sell any of its 57.5% shareholding in Hong Kong Telecommunications Ltd. It was responding to a report in Hong Kong paper Sing Tao Daily News that it offered China Unicom Corp a stake in the company.
