Owen Rogers, product manager for the Blue Coat relationship at London-based C&W, said the proposition is called Secure Gateway. The Blue Coat appliances will also play a role in the carrier’s Secure Mobility service, which offers internet access over WiFi from 75,000 hotspots around the globe for laptops and dual-mode mobile phones.
We’ve had a managed proxy server business based on Microsoft’s ISA for some time, but a number of our customers had begun asking us for Blue Coat, said Rogers.
