Once upon a time, a curriculum vitae or resume was intended to sell you and your skills – use of words and language, that sort of thing – but that idea is really old hat: Torrance, California-based Davidson & Associates Inc has come out with Perfect Resume, a $60 (fleecing the unemployed?) Windows (real computer users don’t use Windows) program that includes a resume builder and a power letters module with samples of cover and follow-up letters, so it’s all designed to enable you to sell Davidson & Associates while pretending to sell yourself.
