CUSTOMERS READY TO FLEE DEUTSCHE TELEKOM

Deutsche Telekom has some hard times ahead, a report in Germany’s Wirtschaftswoche says. With just days to go before the market is burst wide open, hundreds of thousands of customers have begun shopping for an alternative carrier. In the last two weeks alone more than 100,000 customers have contacted private telecom operators for price lists and other information. Mannesmann, Arcor and Talkline, which have already begun an aggressive advertising campaign, were the companies most requested.
