CUSTOM APPLICATIONS ANNOUNCES FREEDOM OF PRESS

Billerica, Massachusetts-based Custom Applications Inc has announced details of a software interpreter, Freedom of Press, able to read PostScript files and print them on ordinary printers; the $495 product runs on 80286 and 80386 AT-alikes and IBM PS/2s, offers 35 fonts using BitStream’s Fontware or Compugraphics’ Intellifont, and supports a variety of ink jet and matrix as well as laser printers.
