Curam Software is expected to leverage best practices and experience at the national level in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, as well as at the US state and local level with implementations in New York, California, Utah, and Louisiana, in order to meet the needs of the US federal market.

According to the company, the Curam Business Application Suite is a commercial off-the-shelf enterprise system that provides the flexibility and scalability to meet the needs of government agencies tasked with delivering benefit programs to citizens.

The Curam Business Application Suite is expected to serve social enterprises involved with national social security and pension programs, veteran’s benefit and medical services, Medicaid and Medicare, disability assistance, disaster relief, economic programs (agricultural subsidies), and other benefits delivery programs that require a complex eligibility process. This social enterprise management system facilitates cross-agency collaboration, which allows a single, holistic view of the citizen and results in improved service through comprehensive and efficient benefit delivery, added Curam Software.

Ernie Connon, president of Curam Software, said: While Curam Software has a long history of serving national government customers, this General Services Administration (GSA) contract award represents an important milestone for our company. The award will enable government customers to streamline the procurement process for acquiring Curam Software’s leading software solutions. This will facilitate agencies’ transformation from claim processing and case management to an integrated service delivery model focused on citizen outcomes that are achievable, appropriate, sustainable, effective and timely.
