CULLINET SW INTRODUCES VTX IN FRANCE

In France, Cullinet Software Inc has introduced VTX, a software product that enables Minitel viewdata terminals to be used in a transaction processing environment based on the IDMS/R database management system, with applications developed using the ADS applications generator and screens managed by the IDMS/R dictionary: no price was given for the VTX product, which runs under MVS/XA, DOS/VSE and VM/CMS on IBM 370-type mainframes.
