Cullinet Software Inc will surprise no-one with the news that although sales for its fiscal to the end of April will be a record, it will report a loss for the fourth quarter, expected to be in the region of $12m to $15m: the loss is in part down to an increase in the costs of its restructuring and in its operating expenses; as reported, it is reducing its workforce by 400 employees, 16% of the total.
