CULLINET HAS ORDER FROM AMERICAN EXPRESS BANK

Cullinet Software Inc and American Express Bank have signed a ‘multi-million dollar’ contract to include the use of Cullinet’s new banking system, based on IDMS/R database, at up to 18 of the bank’s international sites: the agreement will licence the banking system for use in conjunction with Cullinet’s computer- aided software engineering tool, IDMS/Architect and Cullinet has also agreed to develop an international version of the banking system with American Express.
