CSI claims the service, branded as DOXpress, will let companies plan and implement critical data quality programs in just four weeks and at one-third the cost of similar offerings in the market.

The services include consulting, best practices, process definition, a technology implementation plan and training. A novel inclusion is the deployment of a performance management framework built on a company’s existing business intelligence platform for ongoing auditing and monitoring of data quality.

This offering is truly unique, since at the end of the engagement, CSI seeks to transfer knowledge to the client so that they can continue to improve their data quality on their own, said Tim Furey, CSI’s chief technology officer.

Interestingly CSI is positioning DOXpress as a best-of-breed solution even though the New Jersey-based professional services firm added data discovery, profiling and quality management software as part of its services portfolio through its acquisition of Evoke Corp last summer.

Few, if any, solutions providers can include these market leading [best-of-breed] products as part of a service offering at no additional cost to the client, Furey boasted.

Furey said that CSI had long-standing relationships with most data quality vendors whose technology is widely used in its BI and data warehousing services.
