The El Segundo, California giant, Computer Sciences Corp (CSC), has won a major contract with UMB Financial Corporation, implementing a new Customer Information System and Platform Automation Support System. CSC’s Financial Services Group, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is supplying both systems. The first focuses on customer and relationship marketing and profiling, reflecting cross-industry trends towards data warehousing and analysis technologies; the Platform Automation Support system application framework integrates individual host and distributed applications, and CSC claims its’ environmental independence enables it to integrate CSC applications with those of other software vendors.
