CSC said that the US Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded the company a task order to provide information technology (IT) infrastructure engineering support services. The task order has a one-year base period and four one-year options with an estimated five-year contract value of $200m.
Under the terms of the task order, CSC will provide a range of infrastructure services including planning, engineering and implementing IT solutions and providing support for the USAID network environment. CSC engineering activities will include network and voice engineering, system engineering, IT security engineering, desktop engineering and support for the telecommunications computer operation centre.
In addition, CSC will provide support for IT infrastructure-related projects including strategic enterprise infrastructure planning design, technology modernisation, mission moves and future projects.
