The program offers distance learning, career and support services to members of the Navy. Other vendors working with CSC include IT staffing and services firm TEKSystems Inc, staffing provider K Force Inc, IT group Global Business Solutions Inc, and data management specialists DOMA Technologies.
The contract builds upon a four-year Navy contract signed in 2001, under which CSC provides network, Web and operational support services.
In other CSC news, the company has signed a 10-year alliance with real estate and banking services firm Fidelity National Financial Inc for marketing and support of three core CSC banking systems.
Fidelity, through its Fidelity Information Services division, will license CSC’s deposits, loans, and profitability systems and maintain them at its processing facilities. It will also provide staffing and other software and application services. The alliance will market CSC’s deposits service on an ASP basis, delivered from Fidelity sites with no need for client IT staff or other investments.
The two companies will also develop and market new banking IT services, according to a Fidelity release.
