The three-year contract, which has an additional one-year option, is valued at $22 million if the option is exercised.

Under the contract, CSC will provide IT consulting services to Germany’s federal ministries, federal authorities and non-profit organizations. Specifically, CSC will support the Federal Office of Administration as it introduces new seamless IT-based processes, integrates specialist procedures and legacy systems, and implements public workflow and document management systems, and Department of Interior standards and architectures for e-government applications.

In addition, CSC will provide consulting services for strategic projects focusing on IT and e-government, including ‘Future-Oriented Administration through Innovation’ and ‘e-government 2.0.’
