CSC reveals $546.1m previously unannounced federal contracts

Computer Sciences Corporation has revealed that its Federal Sector business unit signed 50 previously unannounced contracts and subcontracts valued at $546.1m during the fourth quarter of the company's fiscal year.

The agreements cover time periods between six months and 12 years. Civil agencies accounted for 13 awards with a total value of $84m. Department of Defense (DoD) agencies accounted for 47 awards with a total value of more than $462m.

Other areas of award activity were with the US Department of Justice (DOJ), the US Air Force, the US Army, the US Department of Commerce and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Services performed by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) under these contracts will include IT, analysis, systems integration and modernization, consulting, engineering, outsourcing, training, maintenance and logistics support.

All expressed contract award terms and values represent the amounts that CSC expects to receive from the agreements if all options are exercised.
