CSC in $300m Outsourcing Deal with GE

Computer Sciences Corp says it has struck a $300m deal to provide outsourcing for General Electric CoÆs data centers in Europe, and would buy GE Capital Information Technology SolutionsÆ Australian unit for an undisclosed sum. The 10-year deal will see CSC initially manage GEÆs mainframe and mid-range systems at its Kingswood center in Bristol, UK. The Australian acquisition gives El Segundo, California-based CSC an additional 800 staff and an extra $200m revenue a year.
