Number-five computer services company, Computer Science Corp, said today it had acquired ECS Integrated Technology solutions LLC, a Portland Oregon-based services outfit, specializing in Oracle applications. El Segundo, California-based CSC did not disclose the price or terms of the deal.
ECS, provides implementation and support services for Oracle’s e- business, customer relationship management, data warehousing, supply chain management and infrastructure resource planning applications. The company’s client roster, which numbers more than 70 organizations, includes AT&T Wireless.
ECS, which had revenue of $18.5m for the year to October 30, will be folded into CSC’s consulting Group, leading its Oracle services thrust across the US’s West Coast, CSC said in a statement. ECS is a key element of our e-business and expansion strategies, said Van B Honeycutt, CSC’s chief executive officer. As our clients continue to look to us for ways to improve their business operations, expanding our Oracle-based solution set better positions CSC to serve their needs, particularly in the CRM, data warehousing and supply chain management applications areas, he added. รก
