CSC, a provider of technology enabled business offerings and services, has signed a 10-year contract with a US based multi-brand commercial products manufacturer to provide information technology (IT) and infrastructure managed services.
CSC’s global network of delivery centres will help the t client to improve the overall efficiency and service level of its IT function.
CSC will provide the customer with ope of global infrastructure managed services, which include service desk, end user support services, network services, data centre services, distributed computing services and security services.
CSC chairman, president and chief executive officer Michael Laphen said CSC and their new client have a common vision of what an IT function can bring to a large enterprise, and are thrilled to be the IT partner of choice for such a company.
CSC said that it will will reduce the overall cost and risk of the customer, elevating IT service levels and position the client to capitalise on future growth opportunities.
