CRUEL SITE OF THE DAY OFFENDS AND PAYS

By CBR Staff Writer

Cruel Site of the Day, one of those web sites that highlights peeved, postal or perverse web sites every day, must have upset someone recently, and in revenge whoever it was sent off a delete domain request to domain-name administrators InterNIC. The result was that https://www.cruel. com was put on hold, meaning that no one could access it, for four days, until Cruel Site’s publisher could prove his identity. Of course, Cruel points out, there wouldn’t have been a problem at all if they had waited for that proof in the first place.
