CenterStage is a new client interface and the long-term strategic upgrade path for eRoom customers. Users are expected to benefit from a collaboration experience that is enhanced with support for Web 2.0 tools such as wikis, blogs and social networking capabilities while their IT colleagues gain the security, compliance and governance controls they require to manage this Web 2.0-generated content, said Crown Partners.
EMC engaged Crown Partners to develop RedCarpet as a content bridge for eRoom customers who migrate to CenterStage. RedCarpet will be available at no extra cost to eRoom customers who are paying for maintenance support. The thousands of eRoom customers have at their disposal Crown Consulting Services, along with EMC and a select group of EMC partners prepared to assist in the migration of their eRoom content to the new CenterStage environment at a pace that suits their business requirements, added Crown Partners.
Lance Shaw, senior product marketing manager of content management and archiving at EMC, said: Our customers will find RedCarpet to be a valuable asset as they make the move to CenterStage. Crown understands the scale and sophistication of the eRoom infrastructure and the exciting opportunities that await with CenterStage.
