CrossKeys Systems Corp – an affiliate of Newbridge Networks Corp, Kanata, Ontario – and Hewlett-Packard Co have signed a letter of intent to develop and market jointly an Asynchronous Transfer Mode test system. The idea is to enable service providers to control the routing of Asynchronous Transfer Mode traffic in a broadband environment remotely, develop application-specific, customized test tools to simplify service-level management; reduce costs and enable service providers to respond quickly to customer problems.
