Ms Fullwood speaking at the E-Pharmacies, Critical E-Business Strategies for Success Conference at le Meridien Waldorf Hotel in London (UK) on December 14, 2000, stated that there are certain steps that a company must take to meet regulatory demands.

The first is to use disclaimers on the site to comply with local regulatory issues, as this will inform users of the intention and constraints of the information. Current conventional regulation should be applied and stretched in order to operate in Europe. This is in order to operate as effectively as possible within the strict regulations.

Ms Fullwood adds, A company should keep up to date with the regulations in Europe. These may change on an ongoing basis, as the Internet becomes increasing influential in pharmaceutical trade.

Despite the potential obstacles of European regulations concerning ePharmacies, Ms Fullwood summarized her presentation by saying that good faith goes far.
