Cincinnati Bell Inc has run afoul of Duff & Phelps Credit Rating Co, which lowered its ratings on the phone company’s notes of to A-minus from A. The Chicago agency reaffirmed the ratings of the notes and debentures of Cincinnati Bell Telephone Co at double-A-minus and assigned an initial rating of Duff 1-minus to Cincinnati Bell’s commerial paper.
