Siemens AG’s Canadian unit Siemens Electric Canada Ltd has won a Prime-1 rating for its $180m or so of short-term debt from Moody’s Investors Service Inc The rating agency also said Siemens Electric’s alternate liquidity is satisfactory and the rating reflects the guarantee of Siemens AG, whose leadership position in many global markets is characterised by diversified product lines, financially conservative management and strong capital structure.
