CREDIT RATINGS

Comsat Corp, Washington-based satellite operator, has had its credit ratings confirmed by both Moody’s Investors Service Inc and Standard & Poor’s Corp, but both revised their outlooks on the company to negative from stable after Comsat announced a new strategy to expand its investments in international ventures together with stepped-up involvement in the sports entertainment business with a view to creating long-term growth opportunities.
