Digital Equipment Corp has signed Torrance, California-based Creative Computers Inc to sell its laptop and desktop computers via direct response and mail order distribution. They go straight into the Creative PC Mall catalog and other advertising programs as well as inbound and outbound telemarketing and in the company’s retail stores. It already handles the Hewlett-Packard Co Vectra line and the Compaq Computer Corp consumer line.
