Creative Technology Ltd has pulled out of its proposed acquisition of Reveal Computer Products Inc after the deal came under fire from analysts and some of its major shareholders. It had agreed to pay up to $65m.The company will pay Reveal Computer the break-up fee stipulated in the agreement, but expects no material effect on its finances. Aztech Systems Ltd, which bought an 8.3% stake in Reveal in November last year for $10m, says its strategic alliance with Reveal will now be maintained and it will continue to hold its equity stake in it.
