Creative Technology Ltd, Singapore has acquired a substantial minority stake in Creative Insights Inc, a new entertainment products publishing and licensing company based in Cupertino, California: terms were not disclosed, but Ed Esber, president and chief operating officer of its Creative Labs Inc unit, will be chairman and chief executive of the new company, which was formed by Ybarra Productions of Cupertino and Monte Designs, currently of San Rafael; the two companies will combine all their operations in the new firm.
