Milpitas, California-based Creative Labs Inc has come out with a $230 version of its Sound Blaster Pro sound system for MS-DOS personal computers: it features a stereo digital-analogue mixer, enhanced stereo FM synthesiser for 20 voices, recording sampling rates from 4KHz to 44.1KHz, a built-in 4W per channel amplifier, a volume control, and microphone and stereo line-in jacks and applications; it also says that Microsoft Corp’s new Windows 3.1 comes with drivers for the Sound Blaster sound system.
