Creative Computers Inc, the direct marketer making a transition from the Macintosh world to personal computers, has completed the acquisition of ComputAbility Inc for $8m, made up of $5.5m in cash and the rest in Creative common stock. Milwaukee, Wisconsin- based ComputAbility is a direct market reseller of personal computer peripherals and software products. Creative, the company behind the Mac Mall and PC Mall brand names, made a net loss of $6m on revenues of $445m. The company is based in Torrance, California.
