CRAY’S SUB-CONTRACT FROM STERLING SOFTWARE IS PART OF CONTRACT FROM NASA

The $24.7m subcontract to Cray Research Inc from Sterling Software Inc for a Y-MP/832 (CI No 1,174) is part of a $40m 34 month contract to Dallas-based Sterling Software Inc’s ZeroOne division to provide upgraded supercomputing capabilities at the NASA/Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.
