Cray Electronic Holdings Plc’s Craycom has launched a multi-port bridge, designed, it says for applications such as integration into the IBM mid-range and mainframe local area network environment; the bridge is constructed from Motorola 68000-based line cards, each of which supports line speeds from 9.6Kbps to 2Mbps: networks which it can bridge include DECnet, IBM’s SNA, Novell’s NetWare and NetBIOS.
