Cray Research Inc is in talks with Toshiba Corp for it to market Cray’s Sparc-based Superserver 6400 systems. Cray has been trying to sell more of its CS6400 systems, which can use up to 64 processors, to the commercial market. The US supercomputer maker already has marketing agreements in Japan with a subsidiary of trading house Itochu Corp among others.
