Cray Research Inc has a $9m order from the Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Co unit of Lockheed Corp, for a Cray Y-MP/2 computer system for installtaion at the Lockheed Engineering Research & Development Center in Rye Canyon, California; and Grumman Data Systems has installed a $13.8m Cray X-MP-EA-464 at National Aeronautics & Space Administration’s Johnson Space Center in Houston – the centre’s first Cray.
