Cray Research Inc told analysts that it expects turnover this year to be up 8% to 10% on 1990, but that it expects pressure on margins to continue next year: it says that growth next year will have to be 8% to 10% again if it is to match this year’s out-turn, but believes that that growth is achievable; last year, the Eagan, Minnesota supercomputer builder reported net profit of $113m on turnover of $804.4m.
