Cray Research Inc has introduced a new software tool designed to ensure that applications will be ready to run on its soon-to-be released massively parallel T3D computer: the Cray T3D Emulator can be used on existing Cray parallel-vector supercomputers to mimic the traits of the massively parallel system and is an early access version of Cray’s flexible programming environment to be supplied with the T3D.
