Cray Research Inc has now installed that 128-processor Cray T3D massively parallel processor at the Power Reactor & Nuclear Fuel Development Corp in Tokyo: the award also includes a Cray Y-MP2E parallel vector supercomputer; terms were not disclosed; the systems are to analyze the safety, reliability and efficiency of nuclear power plants.
