Cray Electronics Plc sprang something of a surprise yesterday by extending its share exchange offer for SD-Scicon Plc to August 16, and there is speculation that Cable & Wireless Plc, British Telecommunications Plc and AT&T Co could also be interested in acquiriing Scicon.
