Cray Research Inc has made it clear that while it might buy TC2000 parallel processors from Bolt Beranek & Newman Inc (CI No 1,689), it has no plans to acquire the Cambridge company: Bolt Beranek’s massively parallel TC2000 machine uses up to 512 20MHz Motorola Inc 88000 RISCs.
