Equally desperate is monolithic supercomputer maker Cray Computer Corp, Boulder, Colorado, which says that with the July 31 expiration of restrictions on both technology licences and ownership percentage thresholds that were part of the original spin-off agreement with Cray Research Inc, it company is now actively pursuing strategic relationships, which could involve sale of technology or a minority equity ownership in the firm, or both.
