Cray Research Inc yesterday introduced the Cray EL94 deskside simulation server, the smallest, lowest-priced system in its supercomputer line. It comes with two to four CPUs at from $150,000 and delivers over 500 MFLOPS peak performance, twice that of the existing model, at about the same price and size.
