CPG Deploys Oracle’s Agile PLM Release 9.3 At Avema

To enhance portfolio visibility, process and schedule management, as well as content and resource management

By CBR Staff Writer

CPG has implemented Oracle’s Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Release 9.3 at Avema Pharma Solutions (Avema), a division of PL Developments.

The company said that with Agile PLM in place, Avema has gained efficiencies in portfolio visibility, process and schedule management, as well as content and resource management.

Thomas Crowe, CIO of Avema, said: As a contract manufacturer of pharmaceuticals, Avema collaborates with our clients on the development, manufacture, and introduction of new products. By implementing Agile PLM we have portfolio management and product collaboration capabilities, along with flexible packaging options to meet the diverse needs of our clients. This will allow us to decrease our time to market, accelerate our market growth, and improve the service we provide to our customers.

Ali Safadi, partner at CPG, said: We implemented a single repository for Research & Development and Sales & Marketing content, made knowledge easily available across the organisation and completely replaced the use of spreadsheets and databases for key functions.
