COVIA INTRODUCES RESOURCEWORKS GATE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

UAL Corp’s Covia Technologies – the reservation arm of United Airlines – of Rosemont, Illinois has introduced Resourceworks: it is operations and resource scheduling software for gate management of airports and is designed to help airport managers assign and manage airport gates, aircraft and related flight schedule information; use of Microsoft Corp Windows enables customers to create multiple screens on one monitor and operate and view several operations or tasks at one time; also, Covia Technologies has a version of Resourceworks for use on local area networks, as well as an artificial intelligence-based system for more complex gate management and operational rules.
