Corvus Systems Inc, the San Jose company just discharged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, has new OmniShare software that enables the hard disk on an MS-DOS micro to be used for network storage on Apple II, Macintosh and MS-DOS networks using the Constellation network operating system simultaneously: the software is compatible with other network operating systems and can be used in conjunction with Novell’s NetWare; it costs $1,000, is aimed at the educational market, and supports up to 256Mb of disk.
