Corus Hotels has selected the Epitome property management system and Core central reservation system from SoftBrands, a supplier of enterprise application software, for five of its hotels across England.
SoftBrands said that the mix of enterprise applications are also expected to include channel distribution and revenue optimization services. Corus Hotels is expected to be use SoftBrands enterprise applications at the Corus Hotel Hyde Park in London; Burnham Beeches Hotel in Buckinghamshire; Belsfield Hotel in Windermere; Corus Hotel Elstree in Hertfordshire; and Corus Hotel, Shirley, Solihull.
Corus Hotels is expected to operate SoftBrands’s Core central reservation system centrally, while Epitome property management system is expected to run within the individual hotels. Channel distribution capabilities will be provided through interfaces with SynXis, a SoftBrands technology partner, to ensure synchronized rate and inventory availability. Installation of the systems will begin at the Corus Burnham Beeches Hotel in December 2008.
