Correction: .com prices could rise 50%

On two recent occasions we have reported that the proposed new .com registry contract between VeriSign Inc and ICANN would allow the price of a .com domain to double between 2007 and 2012. The largest potential increase would in fact be 50%, from $6 to $9, as we originally reported.
