San Jose-based Cornerstone Imaging Inc has a letter of intent to buy Pixel Translations Inc, also San Jose, for about 190,000 new Cornerstone shares, valuing the target at an indicated $4.75m. Pixel does software tools for developing and integrating document image processing systems. Cornerstone develops a line of display subsystems that are designed to maximise productivity of users of document imaging systems.
