Corel Corp has restructured its engineering operations after failing to ship Corel Office Professional 7 by August 31, preventing it from including about $15m in orders in its third quarter results. Ottawa, Canada-based Corel now has moved all of its product engineering under one umbrella held by VP of software development Eid Eid. Previously engineering was divided into three categories: multimedia, video, and graphics and business applications. Corel said it discovered last minute bugs in Office Professional 7 and had to delay shipping to correct them.
