Commenting on some storming figures (see page five) Corel Corp says the continued success of its CorelDraw graphics software led to its record earnings for the third quarter ended August 31: The acquisition of Ventura Publisher and Ventura DataBase Publisher provides an excellent addition to our product line, the company added; Corel chief financial officer Michael Slaunwhite said the company added $8.5m to its cash balance during the quarter, and had $88.6m in current assets including $53m in cash and short-term investments.
